Jan Face Glassman

Jan Face Glassman is a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) who spent over three decades as an IT project manager for several major financial services institutions. She co-founded Trendsetters’ Network, a not-for-profit organization focused on increasing enrollment of young women in historically non-traditional careers for women.  

Expanding upon on her interest in politics, Jan was named a 2004-2005 Fellow with the Vesta Roy Excellence in Public Service Series. This is ahighly regarded, national program seeking to increase the number of Republican women elected or appointed to government positions at the local, state and national levels.   She currently serves as a member of the Board of Governors. 

Jan graduated from Bates College and is proud of her volunteer service to her alma mater on the Alumni Council as well as with development and implementation of a family welcoming program.  Currently, she serves on the Executive Board of the Bates Key, the college’s Honor Society.
 
An active political volunteer starting with the Maine College Republicans,
Face Glassman has volunteered with federal, state, county, and local campaigns in New Hampshire, New York, and New Jersey. She currently serves as a member of the Board of Governors of the Women’s National Republican Club where she is a co-founder of the American Forum Series, a national speakers’ program focused on increasing political awareness and participation. She is also a member of the Seacoast Federation of Republican Women and the Wish List.   In 2008, she co-founded the Annual Black Republican Forum.   
 
Face Glassman, formerly of Needham, MA and Granby, CT, currently resides in Center Barnstead in a log cabin built by her family in the 1960’s.
